We’ve been listening to alot of online radio lately, so we decided to compile a list of our favorite online radio stations. It took some doing to whittle the list down to 20, but here it is, our combined 20 favorite online radio stations:
1. Radio Paradise
Each hour of music is carefully blended together to flow smoothly between different musical styles & genres – just like real DJs used to do on FM. We don’t use the computer-generated playlists or “carefully researched music libraries” that have sucked the soul out of FM radio.
2. 6 Music
6 Music is a great online, digital radio and television station brought to you from the BBC. The mix of music is different than any of the stations on this side of the pond and make for interesting listening. Highly recomended.
EnergyRadio.FM Online Internet Dance Radio. 5 different radio dj channels featuring the styles of house, techno, club, dance, trance, and remixes. We particularly like the EnergyX channel.
4. Riddim Radio
Riddim Radio is an internet radio station that plays all Reggae/Dancehall music. We broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Riddim Radio is committed to exposing Reggae Artists and supporting the DJs and producers who’s bring Reggae music on the forefront.

SomaFM is listener-supported, commercial-free, underground/alternative radio broadcasting from San Francisco.
The world’s #1 on-line jazz destination is broadcasting on the Internet live from the Monterey Peninsula in Northern California.
Hober is an attempt to bring human warmth to the computer environment. Let’s face it, there are most likely a lot of artificial creations in the vicinity of your computers right now. The last thing you need is artificial music. Hober brings unvarnished sounds into a glossy space.
13. Digitally Imported
Digitally Imported is a multi-channel Internet radio service specializing in Electronic Dance Music genres. Filling a global niche for this type of music made it among the most popular internet radio stops on the internet over the last 4 years.
14. Folk Alley
Folk Alley is produced by WKSU-FM in Kent, OH. Streaming music programming is created and hosted by Jim Blum, who includes his own special mix of the best of singer/songwriter, Celtic, acoustic, traditional, and world sounds.
15. KALX Radio

16. Radio 100
Radio 100 (as such) arose in 1985 on the historical big meeting of the amsterdam free radio stations and still is the biggest alternative, experimental and independent station in The Netherlands.
17. Onion River Radio
